Link told us he wants to travel. And he prefers summer. So we're chasing summer. See you in February! We are headed to Australia. Now.
Our flight leaves tonight Dec 30 and lands in Sydney Jan 1. We miss new years eve, twice.
So far we made it to the airport. Two 26inch bags, a crib, stroller, car seat, and two backpacks. Whew. We thought the internet was the most important invention ever, but it turns out wheels are pretty crucial for procreation.
Up next: 14 hour flight. Hope Link really likes to fly! We have a special bassinet seat. With a lap child you pay 10% fare, and hope and prey you get the baby seat. We did. So we get bulkhead seats, and they provide a bassinet which attaches to the wall. Tip for other travelers: beware of paying more for bulkhead. It's the baby asile.
Armed with ear plugs and many o spit cloths, we're ready to go down under.
I had time to Jeffrey our suitcases. I'm well trained, and one day Link will be too.
