Nonetheless, we celebrated Father's Day because my father raised me to observe these types of events.
There's a Wilner family mathematical equation to observing a special event.

STEP 1: CARDS & HOARDING
Send paper cards in the mail. If you're well trained, then you know you can't open the cards before the special day. They have to be saved until celebration time, and opened in front of an audience. These days, preferably on FaceTime.
Step 2: PRESENTS
So it turns out Web Design for Babies is a pretty long and intense book. Our favorite part is the hyperlink section.
STEP 3: LARGE GATHERING
We spent the afternoon picnicking at a winery in the Santa Cruz mountains with Roxy, Zach, Mayumi and the girls in their matching dresses.
STEP 4: FOOD
Much of this happened before I woke up. Apparently Link made breakfast.

STEP 5: TRADITION
We flew our American flag to remember Pop on his birthday, flag day, and Father's Day.

STEP 6: CAKE
Finally, observing a special occasion requires cake. Thanks Rox for the German Chocolate treat!
