Tears to TV

Link does not like the doctors. I told him all day we were going to see dr robin. He even practiced saying "hi dr robin, it's nice to see you"

When we got to his 24 month appointment (ahem, at 25 months) they were running late. Link discovered movies, specifically, Cars. I have a lot of rules but these two were directly competing:

1. No TV
2. Don't touch anything at the pediatricians office, ever

So in a rare occurance, TV prevailed

Link was fine in the exam room. Until the nurse entered. Cue hysterical tears, trying to run away (sigh, remember the to touching anything rule), and screaming for mommy hugs. All for trying to get his height and weight.

He was less thrilled to see Dr Robin. Notable:
Ok to switch to skim milk (grandma will be happy)
He's growing perfectly, now along the 75%
He will probably start potty training this year, but isn't ready yet
No wheezing, even through the tears

Finally, he got two shots.

By the way, flu shots are available! If you want to babysit let me know when you get yours, the earlier the better. At least a month before you visit. They are at every drug store. Ask for the quad shot. I promise it will be less traumatic than Links experience.

There were more tears, and full body protests. But mom's a pro at holding link down and we were done so quick. We even stayed at the office (not touching anything) for some recovery Cars time.

Next Mom needed to recover. link got a treat too. Here's his first sip of skim milk.

No, not really.

To continue the TV filled weekend Link came to the Michigan Bar for a 9am kickoff.

That's the Michigan future kicker class of 2033. Wow that's strange to say!

Link knows the first two lines of the fight song.

He lasted at the bar for over one quarter!

Link doesn't need to see dr Robb again for a whole year (or 11 months for us slacker parents) and he expects to watch a lot more football before then.
