We avoided the stomach flu, but did have a few days of baby sore throat sadness followed by a week of mommy sick days.
luckily we couldn't keep Poppy and Bubby away.
We spent a morning at Happy Hollow, a local park for toddlers. Guess who volunteered to take pics from afar for the petting zoo?
I'm not heartbroken that Link is scared of the animals.
New Years Eve brought lots of cooking, featuring Grandpas gumbo. Link learned how to make the perfect rue.

Link helped Mom make some bread, although this picture happened under Dads supervision.
Link also helped make french toast, he really likes to think that he likes to crack eggs. But actually, he likes to direct the cracking of eggs.
