100th day is a big deal in kindergarten as they're learning to count. To celebrate they:

• Put on 100^th day hats and capes
• Made 100 bead necklaces
• Made 100^th book
• Did 100 exercises
• Misc. 100^th day worksheets
• Had music
• Made 100 snack
• Read 100^th Day of School book
• Choice time
• Had a visit from Captain Zero(see photo)- He read a book to us

Link couldn't love kindergarten more. His teacher is fabulous, and he looks forward to school every day. They go from 8:30-2:30pm, with early release on Thursdays. He started the year tired after every day and even re-started naps at home, but recently he has grown out needing the mid day sleep. We recently signed him up for after school soccer, and swim lessons. He's also doing weekend tennis. 

Link is learning to read and loves to sound out words. His writing is pretty sloppy, he's working to start letters from the top, use correct case, and stay writing on line. HIs favorite books are the "Fly Guy" series, he brings home a new one from the school library weekly. 

Every Friday Mom takes Link to school and stays for the all school assembly on the blacktop. The school sits in a half circle to listen to announcements, SOAR tickets (recognition of kind acts), and the pledge of allegiance. Parents LOVE Fridy assembly because if we're a few minutes late to school we don't have to get a tardy slip,  you just scoot them in with their class. As a result, Link is usually on the very end. 

Link is TALL and SKINNY, 74% weight, and 98% in height. He's a head taller and year younger than most of his class. 

Lex 

Lex is almost 3, and he's quite a handful. Luckily, he couldn't be cuter. 

• Speed: Running, or being carried, with nothing in between
• Potty: intrigued with no ability to follow through
• Sleep: prefers to sleep on the couch, frequently gets up in the middle of the night and relocates. 
• Naps: Naps for everyone but mom and dad
• Favorite parent: This kid is a Mommy's boy
• Favorite activity: Whatever Link is doing, they play together all of the time
• Hair: perfection, his blond hair is naturally highlighted, long, and beautiful 
• Food: chicken nuggets and 3-7 cuties (oranges) per seating make this kid a happy dude
