We walk about 10 blocks to school. We can make it it 10 minutes.
One day we were running late and Link was worried he would get a tardy slip. I told him we have some buffer because it takes a kids and parents 10 minutes to get into the class room. Well, we talked a lot about what “buffer” means and I thought he understood. But every morning he tells me we can leave later becuse of the buffer.
After school we go on coffee dates, practice writing, checkout Spanish books from the library, and go to the farmers market.
Today we got new sunglasses, he wanted pink sparkles
But we agreed on his second choice sporty specs
Bubbie came over just in time for ice cream
Last week Jill took me to Costco, then we took Link out to lunch. Checkout his shirt: future Mira costa mustang, class of 2032.
Lock is great, he’s a pretty chill baby
The local alumni club had a beach party on our bye weekend
Lock brought emergency cream cheese to Jonas birthday party
Lex and I found a car show just 2 blocks away
Last week we celebrated Links birthday in his classroom by gifting one of his favorite books to the classroom. We read a few chapters to the class, they sang a funny rendition of happy birthday holding a play cake, and the teacher made Link a birthday crown.
