Why Link can't make friends...yet

We want everyone to meet Link, but the pediatrician has him on people lockdown for awhile. No football parties or office visits. He's especially not allowed near other kids, because they get sick alot.

Link is a near term preemie. Even though he looks like a "real boy" he's at a higher risk for infections. Any temperature in the first two months means hospital time. Why two months? He gets a slew of immunizations at two months. 

If you do visit Link, you must:

• be 100% healthy
• not recently been around anyone who may be sick (colleague, kids at home, etc)
• not have kids in day care
• have an updated DTAP vaccine (pertussis or whopping cough) 
• and change your clothes before coming from the hospital, day care, airport, or any other germfest

We wish we could spend more time with friends and give everyone a chance to hold him. The time will come!
