Julie and I were able to spend a week in LA visiting with Rachel, Ben, and Emet. It's been three awesome days so far. Here are some early pictures.
The flight down was pretty easy. It was an earl flight (~9am) but Link did great. It was supposed to be Link's naptime the entire flight. Of course, he only decided to fall asleep on mom when we were descending.
Two kids, one car. There's a lot of stuff. Rachel and I spend a lot of time getting the kids into and out of the car.
Emet and Link have a lot of fun together. They play all the time.
Back in our hotel Link loves to just crawl around. It's not a very baby-proofed hotel room so I setup a little furniture fort to block him in to the corner. It turns out baby loves the corner.
Link really likes to play catch over the ottoman. It's not easy to capture since he gets distracted by the camera. But you get the idea.
After enduring a 2 mile walk in the stroller Link got to enjoy a mocha and croissant at a highly rated coffee shop.
Here is a video of Link really enjoying his croissant.
Link and I went 100% LA and "did lunch". He seemed to enjoy it.
Nice sunset shots of the cousins.
Selfie! Note that I'm in the back seat of Rachel's car with the two kids. It's a bit cramped, but it works.
Rachel took Sadie to the park while Link was napping so I got to babysit Emet. Not sure he really noticed or cared. He was too busy trying to crawl.
Both Emet and Link seem to enjoy naked time.
This is after an Emet / Link lunch. The kids really love their pacifiers.
Link loves my hat.
