Baby Spy Cam

Link is usually a fabulous sleeper. At 2.5, he mostly reliably takes a 1-1.5 hour nap in the afternoon, and sleeps from 9pm-7:30am. Actually I'm not sure what time he wakes up because these days Ben always gets Link up. Yay Ben! Yay Link!

There are some super long videos here, this is intended to be more of a baby log than something we anticipate friends and family will want to watch frame by frame. 

Putting to bed routine:

1) Bath time

2) Link runs away naked, plays in living room

3) Ben gets Link in his jammies, does "puff puff" (his inhaler), gets aquifer like cream, drinks milk, and reads a few books

4) Link enthusiastically sucks toothpaste off his toothbrush, then we fight to actually brush his teeth.

5) Julie reads Link a few books + gives fluoride, or, Link reads Mommy a book.

6) Link turns off the lights and closes the door for family hugs

7) Link says the room is too dark and wants the door open

8) Link in crib with music on, tuck in his animals, give him his water, cover him with 2 blankets, and scratch his back.

9) Link cries "mommy, come back" a few times, then starts singing in the dark. Usually Jingle Bells and Bah Bah Black Sheep. This can continue for 45 minutes, but it's usually pretty happy.

10) Mommy tucks Link back in before bed time.


Some great moments captured on the Nest Cam. We use the Nest Cam for recording, but monitor with the far superior WiThings baby monitor, that's the one that plays music. That's right, two baby monitors for one kid.
