We've been reading
this book about Mickey and Goofey going to Japan and building a kite. As you might expect, Link loves this book.
Last week we took a trip to our local airplane museum. As you might also expect, Link had a fantastic time. He got to play in and around airplanes, and talked about it for days afterwards.
Before leaving, we stopped at the gift shop where we were able to purchase a Mickey kite. This was possibly the highlight of the afternoon. Next weekend with Gram visiting we were able to give it a test flight. To be perfectly honest, Julie and I really struggled to get the kite to fly, and we even had to ask strangers for help.
Eventually Julie figured it out though, and it was awesome.
Link loved holding the kite string and watching the kite fly. Then he loved letting go so he could watch me chase after it.
