A typical week

Mom picks Link up from school most days. On sunny days the class is in the front yard and Link often sees my car pull in. He will be jumping up and down at the fence screaming "Mommy! Mommy!" Sometimes he is so excited that he escapes, meaning he goes through the alarmed door and runs into the parkinglot.

Here's a picture of our little pickle after drawing. He discovered that markers work on his hand and face, at which point his teachers decided he should join the outside group.

Most days Link gets a car snack. Car treats were invented to quickly get toddlers from the upstairs classroom to the car seat. I usually grab microkitchen snack on my way out of the office, recently they've had bulk dried banana chips. Link gets extra excited if I add M&Ms. Link also knows if I forget a car snack that he can request the car emergency food. Although that's a snack intended for Mommy moods, he's usually quite happy with the granola bar or peanut butter packet.

It doesn't take as many bribes to keep baby Lex happy. He's a big fan of the swings.

Link's nap mat. Kids who aren't ready to go outside often help the teachers setup the mats. Link has his special dot blanket in his cubby.

Preschool lunch setup. Each kid has a placecard, the teachers select groupings and sometimes do a bistro table too with just two kids. When there aren't GI outbreaks kids have family style dining and help themselves. Today there's a little buffet. Link is better at using tongs to grab food than we are. He often helps himself to fourths and fifths.

Clearly we're past the no sugar stage. Jessica came in late on morning, which turned into a family donut date.

Family selfie. Poor Lex didn't get any. Link ate his entire donut and half of moms.

Link was rain coat twins with his buddy Kai-Aiden.

This video is Link doing high legs exercises after his 1.5 donuts.

Brigitte came by for dinner. Link loved her. Brigitte stayed for awhile past bedtime, so Link was super confused when he woke up in the morning and she wasn't there.

Cuddles in the big bed.

Link loves his coffee dates. Last weekend he got a Daddy coffee date Saturday and a Mommy coffee date Sunday. He gets to pick out his treat, and he's often finished before the coffee arrives.
