Aussie parents

Australia is incredibly parent friendly!!

Cabs carry car seats!

Signs always indicate where to find parent rooms. These are lounges for families. They have toddler sized toilets, private breast feeding coves, a play area and Tvs for kids, changing area, etc.

Just follow the signs to the naked spread eagle baby.

Virgin Australia gets a special thank you for being so awesome to Link. The agent booked us the asile and window, blocking the middle seat to ensure we get extra room.

Next we get pointed to the lounge. After private security screening we enter the largest and swankiest lounge link has ever seen. There's a full breakfast buffet and staffed espresso bar.

Yeah, link graduated to sitting fully upright  in the stroller and facing away from us. It's like he already left for college.

On the plane link is given a warm welcome and special seat belt

While Australia wins on the parent front, it seems the still have a ways to go in gender equality. Anecdotally, the mostly business traveler lounge appears to be under 5% women. Patsy (a colleague of rich's) mentioned she was the only female senior lecturer in her department while her kids were growing up, and now semi retired she is still the only senior female.

On to Tasmania to find link some devils
