No Reef

After four days in the Great Barrier Reef we're calling it a loss. We tried so hard, but there's no way to snorkel in this weather. And there's a cyclone coming. Maybe a monsoon. We don't know the difference and don't want to find out. 

We will finish our vacation in Sydney.

We can say Link went for his first swim in the Great Barrier Reef...pool. 

Mostly though, he stayed under his rain cover 

And we spent a lot of time inside. Cooked some great meals, but no kangaroo meat. Yes it's a thing. But it looked red and gross.

the wet didn't stop us from getting our steps in. We found a rainbow on today's walk (pic on bens phone)
